Every low-voltage contractor we work with is running two distinct businesses under one roof: project work (structured cabling rollouts, fibre builds, new-construction security and AV installs, longer timelines, harder coordination, formal handover requirements) and service and MAC work (moves, adds, changes, break-fix, shorter visits, dispatch-driven, recurring revenue, faster decisions). The second pressure point is multi-site rollout coordination. A national or regional client awards a 10-site rollout and the first two sites go well because the owner is hands-on. By sites five and six, the standard has drifted, the pre-site checklist is being skipped, and the testing and certification sequence is inconsistent. Without a documented rollout playbook, every site is a first-time project. With one, sites six through ten run the same as site one.
